Somatic Wellness coaching
Somatic Wellness begins with understanding that your body is part of how you experience everything - how you feel, how you respond, how you connect, and how you move through the world around you.
Sometimes we know what we want intellectually, yet something within us responds differently. We want to slow down, but can't seem to stop. We want to move forward, but feel stuck. We want connection, but find ourselves pulling away.
Rather than trying to force change through willpower or positive thinking alone, somatic work invites us to become curious about what's happening beneath those responses.
We slow down.
We notice the breath, sensations, tension, emotions, thoughts, and subtle signals happening within the body. Instead of immediately trying to change what we find, we begin by learning to listen.
As the nervous system experiences greater safety and develops more capacity, our responses can begin to shift. We create new experiences that challenge old patterns and offer the mind and body new evidence of what is possible.
And often, what once required so much effort begins to feel more accessible.
The mind softens.
Our choices become more intentional.
Connection can feel easier.
And we create more space for what we want next.
This is the foundation of Somatic Wellness-and the philosophy woven throughout both our coaching and retreat experiences.
Because meaningful change isn't always about trying harder.
Sometimes it begins by slowing down enough to understand what your mind and body have been trying to tell you.
where Healing and coaching collide

Acknowledge
When something happens that changes the way you see your life, it can leave you standing between what was and what comes next.
While these seasons can feel uncertain and overwhelming, they can also create an opportunity to slow down, listen inward, and reconsider what you want to carry forward.
Through greater awareness of your thoughts, your body, and the patterns that have shaped you, you can begin to release what no longer serves you, reconnect with what matters, and create new experiences that support the person you're becoming.
You don't have to have the next chapter figured out. Sometimes transformation begins by creating enough space to discover what you want it to become.

Dream
Whether you’re feeling stuck, considering something new, or simply sensing that there is more you want from your life, coaching creates space to understand what may be holding you back and reconnect with what you truly want.
Together, we’ll explore the beliefs and patterns shaping your choices, create new experiences that expand what feels possible, and begin moving toward what comes next with greater clarity and intention.
Sometimes the first step toward a different life is allowing yourself to imagine one—and beginning to see glimpses of yourself already living it.
-
Embrace
Courage isn’t the absence of fear- it’s the willingness to move toward what matters, even when something new feels uncomfortable or uncertain.
Rather than waiting until you feel completely ready, we focus on small, intentional steps that allow you to experience yourself differently and build evidence that change is possible.
Whether you’re beginning something new, changing an old pattern, or pursuing something you’ve quietly wanted for yourself, each new experience helps expand what feels possible.
With every intentional step, you’re not simply moving toward a different life, you’re becoming more capable of living it.
-
identify
This stage is about embodying what you’ve discovered and allowing it to become part of how you live.
The shifts you’ve made, the patterns you’ve questioned, and the new experiences you’ve created begin to shape how you see yourself and what you believe is possible.
Rather than becoming an entirely new person, you begin living with greater trust in the person you already are, making choices that feel more aligned, moving with greater clarity, and carrying what you’ve learned into everyday life.
Transformation becomes less about who you’re trying to become and more about having the courage to live as who you now know yourself to be.
FAQs
What is somatic wellness coaching?
Somatic Wellness Coaching is a collaborative process designed to help you reconnect with the wisdom you already carry about yourself, your life, and what you want next.
Rather than offering advice or telling you which direction to take, coaching creates space to slow down, listen inward, and strengthen your connection to your own internal guidance system.
By bringing awareness to both the mind and the nervous system, we explore the thoughts, beliefs, patterns, emotions, and physical responses that may be influencing how you experience your life and the choices available to you.
The goal isn't to give you the answers.
It's to help you become more connected to yourself so you can recognize your own.
is Somatic Wellness similar to therapy?
Coaching is present and future focused. This doesn’t mean that our clients don’t have pasts or that those pasts don’t come into play in the context of coaching - they do. But when they do, a coach will not spend a lot of time going back into the client’s history or childhood. Instead, a coach will get a sense of the past event and then look at how that is affecting the client in the present and/or what shift the client would like to see in the future.
Is Somatic Wellness Coaching confidential?
Confidentiality is one of the foundational elements of creating trust and safety for our client. Our clients open up to us and tell us about their pain, their challenges, their mistakes, their dreams, their goals. And they trust us with this because we're upholding the ethics of our profession, which includes a commitment to keeping information confidential. We consistently and carefully inform clients and potential clients right up front in the very first conversation, phone call, or Zoom meeting about what confidentiality means, what it covers, and what the exceptions are.
