seeing Blind Spots
Lately, I’ve been thinking and praying a lot about what I truly want women to walk away with from the “Rooted In Nature” retreat.
Yes, it’s designed to be restful.
Yes, it’s about reconnecting with yourself.
Yes, it’s about meaningful connection with other women.
But deeper than that, it’s about creating space for YOU.
Space to pause.
Space to breathe.
Space to hear yourself again.
Space to notice what’s been buried beneath the noise, pressure, responsibility, or constant movement of life.
As I prepared what I wanted to share during this retreat, I kept searching for the thread that tied it all together. And I realized this:
No matter what season we’re in, sometimes we simply need space away from our everyday lives in order to see things differently.
To return with more clarity.
More honesty.
More grounding.
More connection to ourselves.
Sometimes we need space away from our everyday lives to see things differently.
Because there may be blind spots, within ourselves or within our lives, that we simply can’t see clearly while we’re in constant motion.
Patterns.
Beliefs.
Ways of coping.
Ways of relating.
Ways of surviving that once helped us, but may now be quietly limiting us.
When we slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and create space to reflect, we often begin to notice what we couldn’t see before.
And awareness changes things.
Not because we become someone new…
but because we begin seeing ourselves, our needs, and our lives more clearly.
